So spellthieves have the ability to steal a spell like ability, and cast it once within a 1 minute period. The person they stole the SLA from loses the effect until its cast or until the 1 minute runs out.
Warlock's invocations are SLA, AND many of them last 24 hours. This means a spellthief can steal an ability to oh let's say, see invisibility for 24 hours. He steals it, and casts it. One minute later, the warlock casts it on himself. You now have two players that have see invisibility. A spellthief can quickly and easily do this for any 24 hour warlock buff, of which there is a decent amount. Its like two warlocks in the party.
