Creating a Shield Guardian

Nvvyn

First Post
Ok, I need Serious help on this one. I created the construct Shield guardian(look in monsters manual 3e for information of shield guardian). I was in a battle and the shield guardian was reduced to negative -10 hp. Is it possible to revive him? How would I go about doing this? Can I simply cast repair damage to repair him? Does his fast Healing 5 heal him up again? Can a cleric raise him from the dead? Do I have to expend the gold and experiance to recreate him? some help.

MM p. 5, under "Construct": "...when reduced to 0 hit points or less, it is immediately destroyed. Since it was never alive, a construct cannot be raised or resurrected."

It's completely destroyed. You have to build a new one. You can't rebuild it, you can't make it stronger or faster, you don't have the technology. :D

If you have a really nice DM, he might let you use Mend and Make Whole to get out of some or most of the cost in body work. However, once it was broken, the magic was as well. One way or another, you are going to be out at least some time and all the XP.
