I have a player who dropped out of my undersea game for awhile. Now he is back and wishes to reprise his roll as a triton. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he has lost his character sheet and has limited access to D&D rulebooks.
Here's the fun part. Instead of digging through my hard drive for his character sheet, I am going to allow him to use the revised rulebooks and Savage Species to build his character from the ground up.
Assuming an ECL of 7, what would you do? Savage Species has rules for treating the triton as a class through L5, so I'd be tempted to go that route, adding two additional levels which would prepare him for the Wavrerider PrC.
