Creative Curse

I have a player whose character became cursed. We only have 6-8 sessions left before summer break and I don't want to have a special quest for this low level character to remove the curse to dominate the rest of the game. I am looking for fun creative curse ideas that will add fun and flavor but not screw the player over. Any ideas?

I am out of school, but run a game on campus at a local college. I also miss summer break. The nice part is I don't like a weekly commitment to gaming in the summer as they are so short, and with summer break, I get a break from gaming.

I'd try to pick out a funny role playing curse that wouldn't affect the character's in game mechanics.

One good one to try is "theme music". Have a certain specific song start playing whenever they walked into an inn or in the middle of combat. Try picking out a silly or over the top song.

a tourrettes type disease, complete with calling out paladins

3 years of hiccups= is 4 move silently, -2 ranged attacks, -2 hide.

an inabilty produce the "R" sound

6 fingers on each hand, lowers cha by 2

runny eyes (like a dogs) - 2 spot checks, -2 cha influenced checks.

LOUD snoring, let the other characters deal with it.

I was thinking that everything the character says has to be in a question format like in Jeapordy with the added kick that he cannot manage to ever answer a question when asked.

What do you think?

thank you, i like the question thing too. i would be careful tho- "which way did the bad guys go?" becomes a bomb. it would be very cool if the party learned to work with it tho- cleric "right?" cursed player "what is the way the ogre ran?"

Oh he can answer questions... with questions!

PC: Do you want to play the question game?
NPC: Why would I want to play the question game?
PC: Are you afraid you'll lose?
NPC: Do you think you can beat me?
PC: Are you that good?
.
.
.

:D

PS

I'm playing a Cleric right now in our game, and there's a curse I came up with that I've been itching to use on a long-term NPC that I hate... basically, every time he sees a member of the opposite sex, he gets an erection, that refuses to go away until he's in a situation where one would be useful, or there are no members of the opposite sex around.
