Should we wrap this up and start the final poll? Counting Neo's four submissions, we have 11 names.

CR 2 sounds ok?

I would give it a generous CR 3 -- 3 HD (hence CR 2), plus several useful spell-like abilities (like entangle and barkskin), the assets of being small (harder to hit, and to see) without the drawback (high mobility), and a generous array of ability scores(except in Str).

Gez, I'm not sure if I would peg 3 Fey HD as CR 2, to be honest. 1.5, maybe...

By the rules, 3 commoner HD = CR 2. Fey HD can't be worse.
