don't think i posted this already. their skills underwent a big change from 3.0 to 3.5 - monstrous humanoids formerly had "2x Int (+2/extra HD)", and now only have "2+Intx4 +2+Int/HD" - a big difference! for a 2-HD kenku would have been 22 before, and is now only 10. keeping that in mind, here is the before and after picture:

3.0: Disguise +6, Escape Artist +4, Hide +6, Listen +3, Move Silently +6, Open Lock +4, Pick Pocket +4, Spot +3 (only bonus is Disguise +4 racial)
3.5: Disguise +6, Escape Artist +4, Hide +6, Listen +4, Move Silently +6, Open Lock +4, Search +4, Sleight of Hand +6, Spot +4
Skills: Kenku receive a +4 racial bonus to Hide, Disguise, Listen, Move Silently, Search, and Sleight of Hand checks.

Also, did some thinking about its spellcasting. Here, as an example, is for the 3-HD clan elder.

Spells: A kenku clan elder can cast arcane spells as a Xth-level sorcerer, though the number of spells it can cast per day and spells known are extremely limited (3/1; save DC X + spell level). A kenku clan elder typically has access to the following spells: 0 – daze, ghost sound, open/close; 1st – magic missile. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

The 4HD would get 4 0 and 2 1st, and the 5HD would get 5 0, 3 1st, and 1 2nd.

Invisibility would probably be as a spell-like or supernatural ability, because it is listed as an innate ability.

That should work. However, what happens if the kenku takes sorcerer levels? Do they stack with this limited spellcasting? In other words, if a 5 HD kenku takes a level of sorcerer, what level of sorcerer is he treated as for spellcasting purposes? Just something to think about.

Confusing it is. ;) there’s no easy way to do this (unless I’m just missing it). I guess they would stack? And how would it work if a creature had 5 effective levels of sorcerer naturally and became an actual 1st-level sorcerer? Would it be a 6th-level sorcerer or would it be a 1st-level sorcerer with a helluva lot of power and twice the spells at 1st level? Something to think about. :)
