D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

It's too bad sorcerers get so many spells. Otherwise, we could say that they could cast spells as a sorcerer of a level equal to half their HD or somesuch. Then we could just slap on sorcerer levels normally.

I'm not sure if this will help at all, but here's an ability from the bright naga in the Miniatures Handbook. Maybe it will inspire us somehow:

Mock Spell (Sp): A bright naga can use the effect of one 1st-level sorcerer spell at will, as a 3rd-level sorcerer. This mock spell is magically imprinted in the bright naga's mind from an early age, and it cannot be changed. Magic missle is the most common mock spell, but bright nagas are also known to use burning hands, color spray, and virtually any other sorcerer spell. The spell's save DC, if appropriate, is 12. The save DC is Charisma-based.

a side note: don't want you to think i'm ignoring the other threads, but i want to concentrate on getting the kenku finished so we can post another 10. :)

what needs left doing, mostly:
figure out the spell weirdness
write up their invisbility
re-apply all the skill points
give them a level adjustment
write a "kenku as characters", if necessary

For the invisibility power, I think that we could simply give them invisibility as an at-will spell-like ability. I didn't get the impression that they would stay invisible if they attacked, so greater invisibility is probably not an option.

Call Lightning (Sp): A kenku clan leader can call lightning X per day, as the spell.
