Creature Collection Revised Opinions?

I won't be picking it up.
I didn't like the publisher's attitude that they aren't posting any revisions for the original book. I did see the CR revisions download and did download it. But when the book came out before the Monster Manual, they didn't follow the same formula for creature types/number of feats/skill points that the MM did. I don't fault them for that. But how much effort would it take to make a text document with just the revisions, not something that someone could download and use without the original book?
I don't like the attitude that I can just throw that one away and then go out and lay down the bucks for a whole new book. I bought several of the products for the Scarred Lands - the campaign setting hardbound, CC1, CC2, RR1, Ghelsped, Hollowfaust, the shield, and other stuff. But when they made that decision, I made mine. I haven't bought any more of their stuff since.

I think the changes made warrent more that just some small PDF. Additional, even if they DID put out a PDF I imagine it would be like CC Revised since the changes would not only encompass following 3.0 but 3.5 as well. Thus it seems to me better to have a new book and give the audience a chance to enjoy it, than just wait around for some PDF that most people probably wouldn't read. This is mostly, and this is just my view from experience, people enjoy the FEEL of pages more than like 30-50 pages of errata. If not more.

I've had the CCr for a couple weeks now and I love it. I liked the first CC1, but I had some major problems with the mechanics that kept me from using a lot of it. The mechanics are sound (at least from the couple of read throughs I've had a chance to do so far), they include LA's and character rules, and some of the art is improved (though that had little effect on me in the first place). It's a great monster book and it will be used a lot in the coming sessions.
