Creatures By Poll - Monster #1 Discussion

Apart from what Devon said, this looks good. :)

(Maybe the advancement range could be extended to gargantuan, then we could add either Monster of Legend or my planar ruler template for the real Scylla. Now that I'm thinking about it ... we should forget that last sentence I just typed. ;))

LOL heh, i'm keeping the advancement range in standard format. if someone wants to use it and make it bigger than Large, that's their business. there's nothing to say you can't do that! :)

Looks good. Just some minor proofing comments:

The range on blindsight is unspecified.

The breakdown of initiative bonuses is not detailed.

could be phrased "a form of local poison", but most likely, we should replace "local" with "contact" to make it more clear.

i think i meant to say "form of local poison" but mixed up my words. :) should it say "local contact poison" or skip the local?

I think "local" may simply be misleading.

When you have a local anaesthetic, it works only on the immediate area to which it has been applied. This toxin has the capacity to cause overall paralysis, which isn't very localized.

We should probably use "contact poison" instead.

ok, and how is this?

Blindsight (Ex): has no visual organs but can ascertain all foes within 30 feet using sound, scent, and vibration.
Tremorsense (Ex): can automatically sense the location of anything within 60 feet that is at least partially submerged, if its tentacles are in the water.

allright, the time for discussion is over! it is now time for action! ;) if you have any further comments on this monster, e-mail me and i will decide if it is worth putting in any further changes or not.
