Crimson Contracts

Re: Final Production report

Crimson Contracts, The Assassin's Manifesto is now in final layout with AMAZING interior art by Micheal Martin (see the mock cover below for an example of the interior artwork in this book).

This is a massive book of material for assassins, with
  • new (20 level) NPC and PC classes as well as no less than
  • fifteen Prestige classes,

Well, now it's down to 14 PrCs... one of the classes was seriously broken, and what with one of the authors out of touch due to a death in the family (I believe), we can't fix it... so it'll be a webhancement (or make an appearance in a future Ambient product, perhaps Librum Equitis 3)

how to go about plying the trade of murder - getting contracts, executing them

Executing them. Pun intended?

I am really excited about the art for this project. It's very stylized and a departure from what I've seen in past products. I've always wanted Ambient to challenge certain preconceived notions especially when it came to art, and this work is going to be a showpiece for certain.

Actually, it's not a Prestige class that got the cut, but a core class.

Se we are still standing at 15 Prestige Classes

Ahhh, the Web Enhancement has been spoken of....
TA-DAH!!!

For the Web Enhancement, we will include things taken out to save space.
Magic Items
Psionic Items
Psionic Powers
Monsters
A sample hideout for the Monastery of the Black Lotus
A sample guild
But, no NPC's. Those will be available from The Brood site, or from the Ambient site, perfectly free.
A lot of the Web Enhancement will be on hold to see what people liked, or would like to see "enhanced", so you WILL get some feedback interaction.
I liked working on this project, and I plan on supporting it for a LONG time, in modules, other supplements and accessories, ect.
The Brood does not plan on having this be a "buy-once and forget" product, but rather something will be used in future products.

Just figured I'd let you all know.

No competition from me . . .

I posted what I was working on to my website as a free PDF.

Writing while you're sick produces garbage. I trashed the junk, cleaned the rest, and decided to make it free.
