Criticisms of 5e

Yes, it works. But that doesn't mean I have to like it. I don't like the idea of rolling, getting 6 successes, getting exited about my great roll, but oh no, your limit for that roll is 3, so there's no reason to get excited at all. Those extra successes are wasted and useless. It feels like a major letdown to me. I'd much rather roll fewer dice and be able to enjoy whatever luck I get with them.

There already is a limit - your dice pool. If you are only rolling 5 dice, you can only get 5 successes. The limit in 5e is an additional limit on top of that, and I think it's unnecessary and un-fun. But that's just my opinion. If you like it, more power to you.
I'm agree with the "un-fun". I disagree with "it works". The limit's system isn't good.
In Shadowrun 5, a samurai troll is the most sneaking and less intimidating metatype! Because the physical limit (for sneaking) is based on the Strength and the social limit (for intimidation) on the Charisma and Essence.
In SR5, the pistol's elite (21 dices) with a bad gun (limit 4) is good as a cop (12 dices) with the same gun.
Invocate a spirit force 1 fails 1 / 3 with 3 or 15 dices, because the limit is 1 and the spirit have 1 dice. You must use reagents (to upgrade limit) for a spirit force 1, but not necessary for stronger!
Why the physical limit is used for Throwing knife and shuriken? The melee weapons have other limit.
The cyberlimbs don't be a part of the limit. A cyborg with all cyberlimbs with 9 in Attributes and physicals attributes B3, A3, R1, S1 has a physical limit equal to 2.

Sorry for my poor English.
