Is Dodge a prerequisite for something else? If so, is that something else really worth it?
It's a prereq for Combat Defense, otherwise yeah, I'd ditch it in a heartbeat. Combat Defense makes Dodge much better, though, as it allows switching targets as an immediate action and, with two other Combat Form feats (which I'll have before I get Combat Defense), you gain an extra +1 dodge bonus against your Dodge target.

You might want to look at some Tactical Feats (mostly in Complete Warrior and PHBII). A lot of them add flavor in interesting ways while giving some really nice bonuses.
Yeah, I definitely need to look at all the Tactical Feats again.

Are you going to be lightly-armoured or heavily armoured? If the former, consider adding Mobility and Spring Attack.
Heavily armored. Without a shield, I'll need as much AC as I can get.

How could you forget Close Quarters Fighting? Without it, all the monsters will just grab you and beat you to death with their superior grapple score. Definitely take that one.

Ooh! Good call.

On second thought, that still sucks. Not having to get Dodge or Combat Defense will be worth slightly weakening Combat Strike down the road. I'll update the build in Post #1 after I post this.

You can never have a high enough will save and being grappled really bites, so I would say iron will and close-quarters combat get my vote.

Close-quarters is definitely in, I just need to get home and look up the prereq so I can place it in the build. Still not sure about Iron Will given the Combat Focus benefits.

I don't think that close-quarters combat has any prereqs. Even with a good wisdom, the benefits of combat focus and a good cloak of protection, your fighter will still be a sitting duck when it comes to will saves at high levels, so Iron Will makes a lot of sense. You also should diversify with some ranged feats such as point blank shot and rapid shot since your mastery of a greatsword will mean nothing against flying or distant opponents.
