Both the fighter and the ranger will be somewhat behind the curve. Both starting (only) with a 16 in their prime stat, and not enhancing it at every given opportunity.

I think I would have them go up in their prime stat at level 4.

I'd probably trade in either the Warlock or the Ranger for a Beast Form-centered Druid. Doesn't matter if Pred or Guard tho... and have Bravura focus a lot on Melee-boosting powers. That'd be a boss melee set up, and have -all- your bases covered.

That's a price they pay for having to keep another stat up (in both cases, Dex and Wis).

But the fighter has a few powers that add Dex to attack (upping her attack bonus from +11 to +13) and the ranger needs Dex for his AC. On the flip side, they have better NADs than the warlord. Even so, they hit a same-level soldier with a 9 (fighter) or 10 (ranger) on a d20.

You usually have two chances to make sure you land your 1d8 instead of one chance for the rogues 2d8, plus the rogue needs CA, so that makes up for it in my book (same reason the 1d6 vs 2d6 is balanced to me).

The most obvious non-damage choice would be Weapon Expertise (Heavy Blades), but you may be house-ruling that. If that's the case, Cleric or Warlord multiclassing is a good idea, or Fighter multiclassing if you'll play enough Paragon to make Pit Fighter or Kensei an option. Human Perseverance is also nice.
Duly noted.

After a bit of consideration, I think the ranger will take the Barbarian multiclass, which adds more striker goodness (+2 damage for one encounter once per day) and later on the power swap feats may add more resiliency or mobility, depending on what powers are chosen. Plus it juves well with the character's background.

Sadly, with the upcoming errata, Reaper's Touch will be Shadar Kai only (Dragon Annual, will be in the next builder update). So you'll need to reconfigure one warlock feat to keep it legal.

I am resoundingly in the camp which hates this particular... errata.
Yeah, this'll definitely fall into house rule territory.

On the bright side, this forces me to think things over. Defensive Mobility, making her an "archer"? Arcane Familiar (if the player agrees)?
