Cross pollination: Lindy Hop and D&D

I'm just curious if there is any correlation of subcultures here... does anybody else do swing dancing and RPGs?

Wow, that takes me back - used to do a bit of lindy hop at the end of each jive class when I was at Imperial College around '88 or '89.

Yes, I used to do a lot of dancing in the past. All sorts of ballroom dances, swing, african dance, flamenco, you name it. Don't find as much time these days...

I do modern jive at least twice a week and have done a little lindy hop. Don't know any other jivers who game or gamers who jive though.

while i don't actually dance much anymore lindy hop was my profession for several years (teaching, performing and competing) and i didnt game at the time, but i guess that may count

My wife and I both swing dance and play RPGs. Not at the
same time though.

It's been a while since we've gone swing dancing though (except
for at weddings, which there have been a lot of lately), so we're
a little out of the San Diego swing scene. Anyone know where
to go in San Diego for swing dancing nowadays?
