On the surface Freeport is a pirate city gone legit, but in reality it is still a place of terrible secrets, foul plots, and dreadful gods. Cults of Freeport peels back the façade of the City of Adventure to take an unflinching look at its most disturbing denizens. This sourcebook describes a dozen despicable cults in lavish detail, from their goals and motivations to their tactics and impact on the city. In addition, each entry includes an overview of cult's membership and recruitment policies, as well as a myriad of plot frameworks to help you feature these groups in adventures of your own design. As with The Pirate's Guide to Freeport, Cults of Freeport does not include game statistics of any kind, so you can use it with the RPG of your choice. The Brotherhood of the Yellow Sign was just the beginning. Learn the unspeakable truth about the city’s corruption in Cults of Freeport!

Looking forward to it!

And I'm going to steal that first desciption line for my Death in Freeport pbp recruitment thread.

I'm looking forward to lots of creepiness here.

Are the gods mostly Mythos figures, or is there a range? Do they have names, or are they just given titles as they are in the Pirate's Guide?

At first I was a little bummed that my poor eyes couldn't make out the details of the cover. Then I accidentally clicked my mouse over the pick, and it ENLARGED!

Very nice cover picture. I have a thing for evil serpentine cults.

The blurb says its stat free, so useable with any system desired.

As was the core book but there were already planned d20 and True 20 versions.

On a smaller book, will there still be supplements of that nature?

I get your question now. Sorry. If its truly pure fluff I would guess there are no mechanics to add. Unless you mean for them to give stats for NPC's and any creatures they mention.

Yeah, good question.

In some systems, like the old D&D, if they represent the entities that are worshipped as actual gods, having domains, etc... would be good info to have. Maybe some cultists core class, cultists high priests, etc....
