Yeah, it determines a price in the toolset based upon abilities.

This will change depending on what vendor you give it to due to markup, or since it's customized for me you could just trade it 2 me for gold.


Edit: You can adjust price in toolset also if you feel it's not enough

Out of Curiosity.. If we have a set of armour say that we do not like the appearance of, are we to assume that if we recreate the armour with the exact same benefits just different appearance that we can get the original replaced on our character for the custom one? If so is it okay if we individually name the item? i. e "Malagants Staff" etc...?

Well you can alter an armor's appearance using the HotU crafting system. I did that a few days ago. It did take me a few attempts on each shoulders to remove the spikes (at over 500 gp per attempt). Even with a boosted Int, at DC 18, with no skill ranks in Craft Amor, the chance of success is still low

After dying parts of it, it's like I have a new armor.

He can't actually go in and edit your character, so it can't be simply switched out.

I edited mine, and intend to buy it from Morrus, in my case I changed the abilities one step upwards becuase I didn't want to do all that hard work only to need a better set of armor in a few levels. Remember most appearance options are avaliable in game. There's just a few extra things that require toolset.

I don't want to start manually handling every item in the game; that could get tedious very quickly. I'm looking into some scripts which allow you to alter appearance of stuff yourself in-game, but the ones I've found so far are pretty buggy.

You can recraft appearance but when your dealing with top end magic items your talking some serious gold piece costs...

Its mostly just the ability to get a cloak on some of my armours I'm wanting and CEP adds a hood that works well with a cloak and conceals the face..a mage type helm of Genius stylee version of that to buy would be awesome.

As I offered previously in game if you want some items etc.. making just let me know be glad to do it.

I also have the erf's for basic +1 to +5 enhancement (no thrills) versions of all weapons and armours added from CEP if you'd like them.

I was thinking more along the lines of he do the exchange next time you see him on as DM, once the erf is in the mod its a simple matter for a DM to go in your pack remove one item and replace it with another.... but Morrus had a point as more players join doing that on an individual basis would soon become tedious and time consuming.
