I wonder why there's so little discussion regarding this? We all have strong opinions on what D&D should be. A major factor in how D&D is formed is who works on it. This could use more focus.

Amanda is awesome. D&D is in good hands.

Amanda started with Kobold Press and then moved on to work for Paizo for many years. She was involved with Pathfinder, Starfinder etc. ... quite simply she's awesome.

She came back to Kobold Press recently as Editorial Director and then WotC snatched her up

She'll do great things for D&D, I am sure of that

Just checked and she's not credited on Tome of Beasts, Midgard Heroes Handbook, or Midgard Worldbook.

Haven't picked up newer work.

She only moved to Kobold after all those were already done, from memory. I don't think she spend much time at KP at all before WotC gave her an offer she couldn't refuse. I suspect she'll have credits in some upcoming work though, maybe Scarlet Citadel or Southlands.
