And the returning cast member is Bruce "Damodar" Payne, if I understand it.

I hope the previews let us know whether or not he'll be wearing the blue lipstick this time. If he's gotta have blue lips, hopefully they'll do a better job depicting such in the sequel.

Are you kidding? That blue lipstick rocked!

The D&D film will be regarded by future audiences in much the same way as 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' is regarded now -- an unintentionally hilarious classic! :D

One can only hope that the sequel will be similarly amusing. (But, alas, by trying to make a 'good film', we will see probably see something like Ridley Scott's 'Legend'.)

Don't they realise that making a movie about a game system is a horrible mistake? Please do something more productive. Make a gay romantic comedy with Sandra Bullock and Natalie Portman please.

Throw in Bruce Cambell, a shotgun, a couple of ninjas, and that's about a perfect movie.

I remember Cindi Rice as the editor at TSR who did a lot of work on the Birthright stuff. Met her a few times at gen-cons of old. If she was involved, I have a bit more hope. (and if it's the same Cindi Rice)

OMG. Would someone please stop the abomination from being born! :(

No reason they can't do both ;)

Damodar is returning as a death knight, rumor has it. So I doubt he'll have lips at all.

Demiurge out.

Considering that this one is set a hundred years after the first, all the dumb characters from the first movie would be dead... and since Damodar is returning as a Death Knight, he did die and will be in the sequel. I hope he doesn't have blue lips though...that was painful to look at.

The first movie was bad because it wasn't a finished product when it was released. Had they finished the deleted scenes and put them in the movie, I'd have liked it a tad bit more.
