D&D 3.5 artificer

I'm not sure if this has come up before, but I am in a game where magic and picnics are separate things, so Sr and pr are separate, anti magic doesn't work on powers and vice versa etc, I'm playing an artifice, and wondering about either finding or making a prestige class to let me make psionic items the same way I make magic items. Is there anything out there that would work for this?

Magic and picnics are separate? Oh noes, my entire worldview is ruined!

On a more serious note, no. Magic of Eberron has a Psionic Artificer variant, but if you're a normal artificer that won't help. Can't double up on one class, even if they're separate variations.

Your only options at this point are to multiclass into a psionic class (other than psionic artificer, as noted above), or to ask your DM to houserule something.

Not really. The standard for psionics is transparency, not difference, so no PrCs or, well, anything, really, were made to cover the Psionics and Magic are Different playstyle

Damn... because in our game psionics are basically made to be weird and alien, it's making the gameplay interesting, especially as we've just met a Psion with a couple psionic items from another plane, and my artificer is intrigued, and wants to learn to make them

There's an idea, a feat to let me use craft reserve and item feats for psionic items... might need to take cross class ranks in knowledge psionics for it though... might have to take some psionic item feats if there is no parallel in magic items for it, but that could work... how many ranks in knowledge psionics do you think it should need?
