Morrus

Well, that was fun

I've put together a page which contains all the info I have so far on the revised core rulebooks. As more scoops come in, I will add them to this page also, so that you can find it all in one place when you need it:

http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/news...ns&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=37&page=1

If you know of any more snippets of info, please email me and let me know. Try to include a link if at all possible!

Its almost like the old days before 3rd Edition came out and Eric was the source for every leak for each playtester that violated their NDA's.

How long ago was that? And my players are still only 8th level.... hmmm.

Great Morrus!

A couple quick notes from analyzing "Life's Bazaar", from Du 97, which is supposed to be "Revised-compatible."

- Weapon familiarity shows up per Dragon 304 (a dwarven character using an ugrosh without the Exotic Weapon feat).

- 2d level Wizard spell named "bear's endurance" -- probably just endurance renamed, but probably on the druid list now.

- An analysis of a sorcerer's skill points yields only 2 skill points per level (ie, no change).

'Course, these could also be oversights or mistakes. Not much else jumped out at me (no rangers in the adventure, for example).

Hm. Is there any reason why this isn't a sticky "Announcement"?

Oh, and if they say a thing is "revised compatible" we cannot say much about things that don't seem to change, as revised is supposed to be backwards compatible with 3e.

For instance - 3e sorcerers with 2 skill points are, in some way, supposed to be "compatible" with revised 3.5e. So, if we see a sorcerer with "normal" skill points, we cannot tell if that's the way 3.5e will work, or if it's simply "compatible" with 3.5 e the same way normal sorcerers are....

thanx man this is very useful i dont see why this isn't a stiky subject(somebody already said that though) so if this subjcet gets low on the threads list i will come by once day and bumb it to the top if you would like.

but do you know the changes that were made to the monks, druids, rangers, and bards.im playing a monk right now and would like to see if my character needs corrections because i would like to play by the 3.5 version as soon as possible.

o amn no partial actions thats rough but o well

thanxs again;)

Re

Morrus,

Is there any way you can ask if they are going to make the Quicken metamagic feat useable by Sorcerer's?

Haste was the only way non-epic Sorcerer's were able to cast two spells per round. This change to Haste will prevent them from casting more than one spell per round until epic level.

This is really annoying. The changes make this game sound like a whole different game.
