Krug: Okay. You need to make a Use Magic Device check at DC 21 for each of those —

[Cure Light Wounds, roll of 8 on d20, +9 skilled, total 17, failure]
[Cure Light Wounds, roll of 8 on d20, +9 skilled, total 17, failure]
[Cure Light Wounds, roll of 16 on d20, +9 skilled, total 25, success]
[Enlarge Person, roll of 13 on d20, +9 skilled, total 21, success]

End results: You create a potion of cure light wounds and a potion of enlarge person, each at caster level 1. The cost ends up being 50 gp and 5 points from your craft reserve, which then resets itself to 40 (for achieving second level).

Hey, y'all. I'm going to be away from my computer most of this week with only spotty internet access, so I might not be able to pick things up again until Saturday. Hope you all have a good week.

Just an update. I'm here today, but I don't have the time to resolve three rounds of a combat this big, so any posting will have to wait a little while longer. My other (new) game (HARP) has a first post that's mostly cut and paste from a module, so I'll be throwing that up, but that's not super work intensive. Anyhow, just wanted to keep you all in the loop.

Hey, y'all. I'll try and get the first three rounds posted tonight — I still might not get them finished until tomorrow, though, depending on how long my fantasy baseball draft lasts (starts in 30 minutes). I love big set piece combats, but they take a while to write up. :) And y'all can read that comment about "set piece combats" any way you want. :]

I've got some sad news gang - I'm going to have to drop this game. This site has been blocked from my work, and I simply do not have time to post from home in the evenings. Sorry, but I wish it were not the case just as much as you. :(
