D&D 3.x D&D 3.5e - Exalted Wildshape Feat - Class Level?

On the Exalted Wildshape Feat it says that you must have a "wild shaping class level 8." Does that just mean your druid level?

Yes. Or the effective druid level when concerning wild shape; since there are a few sources of wild shape outside of druid.
