First Post
Just got in now.....I am about to start the map for winterhaven and will probably be in map tools most of the night.
Before I go though I will check the game thread.
Sorry about all the typos but I can't seem to edit my posts anymore...it says maybe I no longer has privilages or something like that.
No matter....I shall be more careful in the future over matters of grammar.
Once more....thank you for the prompting guys....especially zardoz.
Most of the games I have DM'd stopped using maps when d6 car wars was popular or SFB fell out of style on the 70's and 80's.
I am expiramenting with movements and strategies but I like to play creatures in a more "dramatic" and less "technical" fashion.
Gives the players a "slight" edge over the unknown of "randomized" PC death.....but every now and then it backfires, I outsmart myself and REALLY hurt the players.
Glad that wasn't the case last time....but the "potential" for disaster with misses and fumbles....at least the worst mistakes happened most of the way through the fight....it was easy to recover.
I will be in thread for a bit.
Peace & Light (and nobody beats Pete's smoked meat!)
