D&D 4th Edition, H Series, Online Game

All you need is your PHB2 background and you are set.

P.S.; What does Tyrant's Rage do? (he asked eagerly)

I took Geography / Mountain to get +2 to Athletics. The details are in the .pdf copy of the character sheet I sent to you.

Quick summary for Tyrants Rage:

Atk: Str vs Will
Hit: 2[W] + Str, target is Dazed (Save ends)
Miss: Half damage, target dazed until end of my next turn
Effect: Enter rage of the tyrant. Until it ends, I can push every enemy adjacent to me 1 square as a minor action.

For what it is worth, aside from an active DDI subscription, I also have the following:

PHB, PHB2, PHB3, DMG, DMG2, Monster Manual, Monster Manual 2, Draconomicon (Chromatic Dragons), Draconomicon (Metalic Dragons), Martial Power, Martial Power 2, Arcane Power, Primal Power, Divine power, Open Grave, Underdark, Dungeon Delves, and Manual of the Planes.

Background
Quinn has always been on the fringe of society. Marked as "different" from birth, he has lived as a shunned person in the remote mountain village of Shard. While not abused, he has grown a friendless outcast among his own people who fear his appearance that grew more otherworldly every year. Taller, finer, and with silver and gold mottles covering his body. After it was made plain that he would never be welcomed at hearth and banned from marrying, Quinn left Shard, wandering down the mountains with little in the way of supplies or hope.
Chance meeting with Douven Staul on one of the human's expeditions, afforded Quinn the opportunity to experience for the first time, acceptance. Assisting Douven in small manners, a friendship was struck and Quinn eventually related his story to Douven. Douven put the pieces together and guessed at Quinn's heritage. Holding this knowledge secret lest he scare Quinn, Douven convinced him to seek shelter and education at a small temple he had heard rumor of in the nearby mountains.
Quinn left with the barest of directions and found this temple weeks later, starved and freezing, and weak. The priests gathered him in and quietly put him to work. They strengthened his body somewhat and taught him to defend himself from the dangers of frontier life. They tested his mind and soul and found him exceptional. The head priest took Quinn under his wing and forged him into a living repository of the spirit of Bahamut. This awakening came not without price, however, and Quinn became aware of his heritage.
An enlightened soul on the verge of transcending to a higher state of being, Quinn was diverted on his spiritual journey to serve the powers that be once again on this mortal plane. With dim memories of life after life serving the powers of Good and fighting Chaos and Evil. Sometimes winning, sometimes not. More often dying in the process.
Once again Quinn finds himself in the fray, lead back to Douven following his inner compass. Where this adventure and life will lead him, Quinn knows not, only that this is but another step in the journey and that new adventures and new companion await him.

Character
Quinn is a solemn man with a ready smile of compassion and a ready hand to those in need. Not given to proselytizing or evangelizing, Quinn is driven to understand and complete his "mission" in this life. Unfearful of death, he none the less, accepts that others find pain and death fearsome and will often go to great lengths to aid and preserve life.
Quinn is quite tall, but slight of build and what power he expresses is in the form of an internal radiance rather than physical might. No one would ever mistake Quinn for a warrior, but most would think twice before crossing a man of obvious mystical power. His skin tends to hints of silver and gold mottling in differing light, and an indefinable inner "glow" radiates from his skin and eyes. If not for the evident friendliness and compassionate mien, Quinn would be a terrifying figure.

This is a quick build, I will have a more in depth build in a day or two

Dude....I am speechless.
Awesome Character.....we DEFINITLY have a 5th player!

Your HP's are fine....I am just buggin' on zero sleep....sorry.

Correct me if I am wrong but that seems like a bit much equipment for just 100 gold coins?
Just the ritual book and chainmail would break the bank.

I see it now says 9HP but 24 WAS right afterall.

Peace & Light (and that's man 0 - machine 4!)

Ftr's gold discrepancy reminded me of something I had forgot to tell you....my appologies.
As a result of your friendships with a dwaven blacksmith, ALL your PRIMARY weapons will be FREE OF CHARGE!
This is considered a "gift" from Douven as a token of your friendships.
This weapon is a non-magical weapon of quality....considered to be "balanced" (or +1 attack bonus) if bladed in any way....or failing that pocessing a unusual trait of your choice.....+1 damage instead of attack.....or for example; a hand axe that has "versatile" or a Crossbow with "quick reload" or a dagger with "high critical" descriptor added to it.
These weapons are not only gifts but are as much symbols as they are unique, in his the wild days of his youth, he forged for Kings and to show his gratitude, you each were gifted with one...the signifigance of which I leave up to you!

Sorry about that.

Peace & Light

like I said, it's a quick generator build so you can get a handle on what my character would look like. I will do a real pencil and paper build tomorrow, and email it to you to review at your leisure. I am glad you like the back story.

I will make sure that stats and money issues are addressed during the full build.

Please understand that I am an experienced role player, and played D&D when I got it in a ziploc from a Con in Dallas way back. I have played every edition except 3.5 and 4e. I have played a LOT of other systems as well, so have no fear that I will pick it up quickly and prepare as best I can before hand. But I will be very shaky during the combats as I am very unfamiliar with the newer style of movement oriented combat actions. Just bear with me for a few fights and I'll be up to speed quickly.

And thanks for the invite. I've been dying to play again after my old group parted ways.

Jim
