The elf slowly sat up and gratefully accepted the healing potion. "Are the ogres, dead?" he asked fearfully, clearly still in shock from his encounter; he hadn't even offered his name. Catching sight of the dismembered bodies next to him, he cringed and crawled backwards until his back touched the wall of the cave.
Examining the pile of goods, the party found three large burlap sacks containing a hoard of coins, mostly silver and copper with a few gold coins thrown in for good measure. The pile also contained a variety of different objects: glass bottles, lengths of chain, a leather scroll case, an abacus, an empty chest, an hourglass, a pair of hand mirrors, and a well-made maul. Boddynock suggested the goods were worth about 90 to 100 gold pieces all together.
