D&D Books That Don't Really Get Used

Most of my books I only use a snippet here or there from.

The most completely useless: Deities & Demigods, Stronghold Builder's Guidebook, Epic Level Handbook (I have no intention of ever running an Epic game, but hey, it was $12!).

Like Menexenus, I'm a collector.

If there was professional electronic support for all thier books, this wouldn't be a problem for me. I regularly find a ton of cool stuff in each book I'd like to use, but it takes six hours to go through them all looking for that one feat or PrC.

I have purchased every Forgotten Realms 3.0/3.5 release, and all I've ever used is the Campaign book.

I went crazy at the last FFG sale, but I haven't used any of the books.

I'm the worst for purchasing new systems and never running them. 7th Sea, Rapture, The End, DiscWorld, Marvel and many, many more. Most have never even been read.

I eventually use something out of every book I have but it may take years for me to do so.
But it is fun to look thru books on my shelves and see things that I want to use.
I find something new to put on my "use sometime list" everytime I do this.

I generally do not have this problem, but then again I treat the D20 system as a smorgasbord, taking a little from a whole lot of books, but rarely using an entire book that is not the core or tied to the setting. As a result I can generally find enough to keep me happy.

This is one of the reasons I so very much like PDFs - I can print the pages that I am going to use and leave the book home. Right now I am nibbling on Mechamancy...:) I wish Unearthed Arcan was available this way - it would be much more useful as a PDF than as a hardcover.

The Auld Grump - The Mongoose Quintessentials are particularly good for taking slices off of.

This is why I'm such a fan of adventuers in books. Even with the Epic Level book, I used it once to run a one-shot epic game. That tought me a lot about high level play and in subsequent discussions on ENWorld, I can safely say that I got my money's worth from it even though technically I only used the book for one session.
