D&D causes insanity?

:hands in pockets:

Robot fish, wanking machines???

Must have me confused with someone else....

No really, I'm just waiting for a bus.

No, didn't see a thing over there behind you.

Nah. D&D doesn't cause insanity. The players spending 5 hours trying to find a trap on a doorway for *no apparent reason* is what causes insanity. Damned players.

You know, this game would be great if it weren't for all the damned players :D

wow... I have never in my life gotten beyond 2000 posts in a message board... Even back when Daemonforge was first starting I rarely got beyond 20 or 30 posts a day.

Once again I will point out that insanity is a legal term not a mental one. So no one here is insane. Some of us may well be mentally disturbed.

*giggles*

You are making the classical error of confusing correlation with causation.

It isn't necessarily that D&D causes insantiy. It could simply be the case that those who are already insane are attracted to the game.

I'm going to go hide under my desk now. Good day.

Correlation and Causation

Perhaps this is only a preliminary survey before the lab controled experiment which can then prove causation?
