And that's by Joss freakin' Whedon? Is the trade paperback yet? Because I must have that.
Brian K. Vaughan created & did the original and longest run (Vaughan also was writer & creator of
Y the Last Man and
Ex Machina, FWIW).
Whedon had a run, which has indeed been collected in both [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Runaways-Dead-End-Kids-TPB/dp/078513459X/"]regular TPB[/ame] and a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Runaways-Vol-Dead-End-Kids/dp/078512389X/"]smaller TPB[/ame] (same size as manga releases, IIRC). There are tons of trades of the rest of the series; it's kind of dizzying how many versions you can get (premiere HC, regular TPB, manga-sized, oversized hardcovers, etc.).
I have the oversized hardcovers ([ame="http://www.amazon.com/Runaways-Vol-Brian-K-Vaughan/dp/0785118764/"]volume 1 here[/ame]), which are beautiful and were great buys, but I think they are out of print and thus higher-priced now.
(Hmm, I think I have an extra copy of volume 2 or 3, still in shrinkwrap; if anyone wants it, PM me.

)
Edit: meanwhile, back somewhere a little closer to topic -- umm. Buy the TPBs of [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Beetle-Book-1-Shellshocked/dp/1401209653/"]Blue Beetle[/ame], too? [MENTION=189]jonrog1[/MENTION] had a great 25 issue run on that book.
