I've been able to find a surprising amount of mileage from it by combining different classes and parties. Maybe I don't bore easily (I'm a lawyer).

That explains it :p Reminds me of the joke about how you can determine what someone's stadying. :D

Well, considering that NWN 2 was the last one to come out, you should be pretty well fixed, eh? :)

NWN2 has a serious problem: The OC is virtually unplayable in multiplayer, since every single transmission is forced upon all players (so if someone enters a house, everyone's brought into that house. If he leaves again, everyon's outside again) and because you can't act during conversations.

I gave up on it shortly after playing it through once, since MP content was sorely lacking and none of the persistent worlds were ready. I think some of them are online now and I might give it a second chance one of these days, but Obsidian did drop the ball there.

Sigh. It's unfortunate that that sentiment will be attached to both of their first two shipped products.

TBH, I haven't even looked much at NWN2, I just had a friend who bought it and couldn't get a decent framerate on his fairly powerful desktop so I didn't even bother to think about running it in Boot camp on my Macbook :)
