Scott's post makes a lot of sense. Cat Fancy magazine subscribers, cheese heads (Green Bay Packer fans), Fox News acolytes, and so on are perfect demonstrations of "mainstream" geeks. Everyone's a geek these days. There's simply no shame in it anymore.
