D&D 5E D&D doesn't need birds

I'm just responding to @Morrus request for more suggestion threads for testing.

However, I don't like birds and think the game would be better without them. Certainly not as full characters and in no way should they be able to lay eggs on a long rest.

Birbs are overpowered as characters as it is, they just squawk and fly away leaving the party to face danger alone.

I disagree!

As the owner of an African Grey Parrot I can promise that they are in no way overpowered. While they have very effective bite and sonic attacks, their frail constitution makes them almost useless in combat.

While my two cockatiels may not have the fearsome bite and fearlessness of our former parrotlet, our older one apparently holds it in sometimes if you're not nice I can probably train it to perch over your prize gaming stuff when he finally lets go.

The game is overrun by Aarakocra and Tengu Kenku anyways. Feathers everywhere.

Speaking of birds, one just got to a laptop keyboard. Luckily it was only about 10 keys... but most of them weren't alphabet keys... and a few didn't have obvious positions.

Birds are particularly to bards, my brother took out a parrot with an electric guitar and a Marshal Stack.
