D&D eXPerience Ticket Sales Live

From the RPGA Web Site

It’s the first time we will publicly reveal our D&D plans for the 2008 year at our special D&D Seminar, Thursday morning at 10 a.m.! See what we have in store for the whole year. Get a sneak peak at some of the up coming D&D 4th Edition material and get to meet and talk to some of the most influential people in D&D from our Brand and R&D teams. Here’s your chance to ask them those questions you’ve been burning to ask!

How long is this event expected to last? I am attending but my flight doesn't land until 10:30 am. Will people be around on Thursday prior to the start of the first slot to ask questions, etc.? Just wondering.

The D&D Insiders event is from 10am to 12pm and will be standing room only long before it starts. So if you're flight does not land till 10:30am then odds are you are going to miss most if not all of it.

The Brand and R&D teams will be there all weekend though. They normally have a desk setup where they takes shifts just hanging out to talk to people. Last year they had some preview books for the next few months that are not out yet to flip through as well.

As I've said before there is no show anywhere that will give you this level of access to staff members from Wotc. I saw 'The Rouse' there on many occassions with people just chatting with him for extended periods of time.

While it's "cold" in DC in the winter, there are TONS of things to do inside. And the museums won't be so damned busy! I'd say that Feb. is the PERFECT time to come see the Smithsonians and the epicly awesome International Spy Museum (not free, but worth every penny - especially for the kids!).

The Universe and I will be headed down from the MD 'burbs. I'm SUPER excited. If people are interested, maybe we can meet for a sort of ENW breakfast, lunch, or dinner somewhere on one of the days? We can all dish about our 4e experiences!

Squeeeeeeee! SO EXCITED!
Heck ya, let's do that! Would be 'specially cool if there's more DC-area EN World folks like ourselves to meet. The two days I'm DEFINITELY planning on being there are Thursday (for the 10AM chat-fest) and Saturday, toting around my wife to the FR 4E stuff. Hopefully I can be there every day, and all day! ^_^

There are LOTS of us. In fact, over 40 of us met up in October for the wildly successful, incredibly fun, AMAZINGLY AWESOME ENW Gameday! It was SERIOUSLY a blast.

Take a peek at the link in my .sig for information about the mini-Con and be on the lookout for the next Gameday in March 2008 (or just go to www.dcgameday.com)!! All the official announcements will be made for the upcoming blowout shortly after the first of the year on the Gameday site, as well as here at ENW! :D :D :D

Allright, finally signed up for the 1:00 PM Thursday Scalegloom hall.

Should be around most of the day. Did we ever decide on some kind of EN-meet?

My schedule is pretty full at XP, but I'd like to meet some ENWorld folks.

FWIW, I'm an administrator for Living Forgotten Realms and I'd love to speak with whoever's interested at the convention and get your feedback on the LFR intro mods.

I also signed up for a Full Saturday. I hope to see some ENWorld people there, maybe we could were 'I frequent ENWorld' type name badges?

:)

There will be a DDI demo at the con:

WotC_DM (Didier someone?) has this to say:

We have kicked of our internal Alpha process for the D&DI applications, and we are getting ready for the next big demo for D&D Experience show in Washington DC, end of February. We'll certainly have more information there regarding the D&DI applications as well as the Beta Tests. We are not planning at that stage to start the Beta test there, but this will be the first place where we will take sign ups for the D&DI client applications Beta tests.
