Two days of events at London's O2 Arena.
On Saturday, August 22nd, the O2 Arena in London will host the D&D Fan Expo. This event features interactive elements, panels, and special guests.

Tickets go live at 10am on Friday, 6th March. A presale on Wednesday, 4th March will be open to subscribers of the AEG Presents newsletter (which you can sign up for on the site).

The event spans two days. On Friday, 21st August, D&D Actual play group The High Rollers will perform live in the Indigo at the O2. And then on the Saturday, the main event takes place in the O2 Arena, as Dungeon Master Jasmine Bhullar puts a group of actors through their paces.

Whoa! They painted the ampersand on the roof? Is that real?
Came to ask the same, then found myself wondering if there’s some projection tech on that facility that I hadn’t seen before. Then I remembered that AI exists and got disappointed that I can’t trust any pictures anymore, sadlol

I mean, it's probably photoshop not AI. At least I hope it's not AI, because if it is I'll be ashamed for having been suckered and using it. But yeah, the O2 ain't gonna be painting your logo on its roof.

I very much doubt it. (a) it's not until August and (b) they haven't even got it on their events page yet and (c) they don't exactly paint Elton John's face on the roof either! The O2 has massive events on constantly. I guess this is some kind of promo picture.

Ariana Grande is there for the week before and the week after according to the events calendar.
That would make it more of a G & G couple of weeks at the O2

Maybe so, but who is it going to draw that isn't already into the brand? It's marketing sure, but I don't see it as a something that would bring in throngs of the uninitiated.
But it's going to be a great occasion to surround existing fans with D&D merch! WotC has been pretty clear that their main challenge with the D&D brand isn't recruiting new fans but monetizing the current fanbase.

I like the cast lineup... should be good given the combination; happy to see Wyll is there along with the rest!

Want to express mild disappointment that some of the other actors from BG3 tend to not be brought in as frequently at these larger events that have live play (Halsin, Narrator, Minthara, Gale etc.)?

That's said with understanding that much of that is based on their availability, personal interest, fees, cast dynamics and so on. :3
