So, regarding the virtual table, are we going to actually get pre-made dungeons? Or does every DM have to build from scratch?

I remember all the promise that Neverwinter Nights offered my old gaming group. Then when it finally came out, it dawned on us how much work it would take to use. Of course, the virtual table has drap-and-drop functionality most likely, rather than requiring any kind of scripting, but still....

Interested?
No.
I never play online, and I don't use much in the way of computer stuff when I make characters (I make my own character sheets, and fill them in by hand - A Word Processor is about all I use).

Willl it succeed?
Probably.

The only aspect I am interested in is the collected PDF Dungeon and Dragon, and that completely depends on Price Point and Content. :)

And I can't read the Dragon articles online.

I thought there would be a trial period during which we could try them for free.

Does anyone know about this?

Damn my hyper advanced $many many$ computer and its damn integrated vista...

Vista is the devil

DAMN YOU VISTA!!! RRRRGH!

on a side note, I named one of my first "Most annoying NPCs ever" NPCs Vista...
The players will hate her guts when I'm through!

No Vista support?

I am, once again, punished for going that route.

At least Hellgate: London looks great on it.

Right? RIGHT?!

(sob)

I thought vista had 'backward compatibility' with WinXP applications. I would wager it will work, although you might have to say "ok" 10,000 times due to 'security' concerns ;)

You could always install VMware and Windows XP within that to run the applications.

I know I'll be trying my VMWare Fusion XP install on my Mac laptop to see if it will work (I have no reason to believe it wont).

FORGET ABOUT THE BADGE! WHEN DO WE GET THE FREAKIN' GUNS?!?

...er, I mean, while the previews are fascinating, I must admit to a certain curiosity about when this product will actually be released to the public, don't you know?
