Interested....
Yeah, I'm keen to see what can be done with some major corporate $$ behind an e-gaming table.
Think it will fly....
Not on your life. WOTC continues to impress me with its incompetence in the digital arena. I no longer read Dungeon of Dragon. I use a spread sheet for character management after pounding my head against e-tools. I fear their forums like a purple shaggy cycloptic cannibal with a razor sharp horn. I don't bother to navigate their website, instead I rely on links posted from here to lead me anything that might remotely be of value.
Pretty much everything they have done in the digital realm has served to remove me from the D&D online community. Canceling Dungeon and Dragon did the same for my tangential trade connections. ENWorld is about all I have left of D&D. It was always one of the better parts. Thankfully, their efforts have saved me *hundreds of dollars and allow me to pass of DDI without any fear that I could be missing something awesome.
*Not really true, I took up buying and reading WW Dark Ages stuff to replace my need for a D&D fix. I don't play WW but it sure has some great fluff.
I will keep my ears open and I reserve the right to be pleasantly intrigued if people start saying good things about it.
