D&D is awesome

You know, recently I was thinking of making up a monster whose whole interior was dungeon for some reason. But then I decided that did not make sense and was stupid.

But maybe not!

It's certainly a stupid idea. But it's retro stupid, and thus a good thing for the right people.

I do love all editions of DND, some are just a little harder to get along with sometimes. They get a little too drunk at Christmas and start a row with another family member. I'd prefer if they just slept it off on the sofa.

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here, but I have to say that during the 2e era, I was a pretty big fan of the Player's Option books. Not everything about them, but they had a lot that I liked.

And I have fond memories of 2e because I ran a campaign that went on for years, set in Greyhawk, and the core 8 players and I had a great time. They went from 1st to 16th level during that time (with a few deaths, of course ), and they completed many adventures, as well as getting involved in The Main Story Arc. Fond memories indeed

2nd Edition was awesome. It's blue tinged Easley/Elmore illustrated heyday represented some of the most imaginative explosion of story in D&D.

I agree that 2e was awesome, i don't know why it gets so much hate. All i know is that i had a helluva lot of fun playing it.

That's bad....Those tend to spend all the time flirting with the hot chick at the table and the game goes to pot...that is not awesome. :razz:
