This can be one of the most telling of how well a game is going is during these "moments of crises", when it really does hit the fan. The players, for their part, despite obviously taking being hard hit by it, seemed to have taken it in stride, with a minimum of ill feelings or hostility towards the gm or each other (aside from a few possibly completely justified misgivings.) Very nice.
