D&D Jihad: People Who Are Unwell

What... what does that mean? Do they like the BROSR, or dislike it?
... What does BROSR mean, exactly? I have an inkling, but am unsure if my own bias is making me quick to jump to conclusions.

A lot of these things are personality cults/pyramid schemes; and have been around forever. There were unimaginably bad takes on gaming in the old days, and we simply ignored them, playing it our own way. Fun is the name of the game in a final sense.

A few years back, a group of discontented white men found a hack into the Hugo Awards nominating procedure, and tried to take it over because there were too many non-white men getting nominated for awards. or something. it was dumb. They called themselves 'the sick puppies.' At least that's how I remember it; could be some details I'm forgetting.

It was a publisher mainly though as the "leader" and pushing their books.

That is hilariously stupid, from the standpoint of someone unaffected at least.

They were calling themselves the Sad Puppies, but Sick Puppies would have been so much more fitting!
