In a current game, GM asked me to roll dice for 'something' related to what my character was doing during cleanup in an Orc stronghold. The next morning, discovered a mimic had followed my character back to the tavern the party is staying at. I now have a pet mimic. A couple days later, a group of ruffians attacked the tavern for 'reasons'. After the short fight, party was discussing what to do with the bodies. Ah-Ha! moment. Fed the bodies to the mimic. Simple. Neat. We were happy. The mimic was happy. Good Times. ( a variant on a different meme.)
