The dwarves are - apparently - not wielding axes, either. (With the exception of the dwarf skeleton).

I'm very, very surprised that the Grell is uncommon.

I'm not complaining, though!

Cheers!

i blame Pkitty

So is that Forest Troll a large like the Skullcrusher Ogre and the Dire Bear? that would make three large uncommon minis. That is simply fantastic! And stuff that I would actually want more of too!!

Case, here i come!

Forest Troll is medium (from MM3)

medium giant; HD 5; Init +7; AC 18; Atk +6/+6 (1d4+3+poison) and +1 (1d4+1); SA poison; SQ fast healing 5; Str 17, Con 21; #enc: 1-24; CR 4. Poison 1d6 Con/1d6 Con, DC 17

Definitely worth using. :)

Cheers!

As long as the forest troll doesn't look too unlike a regular troll, it'll do just fine serving as troll minis (even if it is only medium).

Shouldn't there be more commons? I mean, how can something be uncommon or rare when there are more of those two than of the commons?

On the contrary, it's because there are less kinds of commons that they are more common.

Commons will have four (hopefully, I'd hate it if they changed it to 7 total) slots of three minis. Which means that everytime you open a box, you'll have a 1/3 chance of getting a particular common. Upon buying a case of 12 packs, you'll have 4 of each commons.

Uncommons are in three slots of 8 minis. So, whenever you'll open your pack, you'll have one chance in 8 to have that particular Uncommon mini. With a case, that'll give you at least one of each uncommon, and half of them will be duplicated.

Rares are in one slot of 24 minis. One chance in 24 to have that Gold Dragon when you open your packs. If you buy a case, you'll have half the rares.

Because for every one given Rare you get, you'll get eight of any given Common. Rares and Uncommons have always outnumbered the Commons, in terms of unique sculpts. It's just slightly more pronounced this time.
