Well, the winner of the "What would be the first large uncommon figure" is the Destrachan!

This is the only large uncommon in this set, but there'll be more in later sets, according to Rob.

And there's a new statcard format!

Oh, and some other interesting miniatures.

Best quote in the article:

"As a valued part of any Chaotic Warband, the Ethereal Filcher is a ... well. Umm. Uh. It ... uh. Urr. Scratch that opening.

"As a potential member of any Chaotic warband, the Ethereal Filcher is a freaking weird-looking mini."

Hehe!

Go and look for yourself!

Damn, that destrachan looks nice. I think I'll have to start picking up some of those sets!

The new stat cards look nice.

Unfortunately, WotC's decisions for what is common/uncommon/rare in the line are completely off for me. :\

I agree, if ever there was a good cancdidate for rare status, it was the destrachan. Though I will admit that it's nice looking mini. Much nicer, in fact, then the picture in the Monster Manual which is just damn goofy.

Regarding the half-illithid, remember that it is a mis-nomer. The correct term would be ceremorph. Illithids begin life as a tadpole, which burrows into the brain of a host. If the host was a human, the result of the ceremorphosis is a full-fledged mind flayer. Anything else is a so-called ceremorph. The lizardfolk turn into what is known as the tzakandi.
