D&D Miniatures Handbook Interview

What is the main difference between Cry havoc and Miniature Handbook mass battle rules? Do I need tons of minis to play battles in both systems?
Based on the information given in the interview (for the Miniature Handbook), it looks like one of the main differences is that you need a ton of minis to make the Miniature Handbook work. You do not need a lot for Cry Havoc (you can use the normal number of counters you use for any normal D&D encounter, or even none at all).

Some more info on the D&D Miniatures Handbook. Check out that War Hulk Prestige Class. SWEET GOOGLY MOOGLY!

Even if WotC hadn't messed with the STL, this is a book I'd never buy. Warhulk == Munster monster.

"Why advance your monster? Don't you like it? Warhulk it!"

The bits about the mass combat system I found to be especially interesting. Nice to see that what I was hoping for, armies of a hundred or so miniatures a side, will be what they were planning to do.

Yep, that's what I was looking for as well. I really do not need a point based system I just want something I can use in my roleplaying game without too much work converting. Looks like I will be picking it up for the mass combat rules.
