D&D Minis: When do the repaints stop?

It's puzzling why anyone would assume that because someone is aware that DDM figures can be currently sold for a certain amount, that someone must consider DDM an investment. (Feel free to insert any collectible you like in place of "DDM.")

It is possible for something to have "value" yet not be an "investment."

My motorcycle has value, and I could sell it tomorrow, yet it is far from an investment. Its value depreciates with each speck of rust the Pacific fog eats into the chrome.

Hi All,

I don't mind the repaints at all. I think they repainted the Frenzied Berserker as a Human Barbarian.

I won't ever pay $15 plus shipping for the Frenzied Berserker now that the sculpt is in one of the player sets.
