Heh, one of the fascinating things about the show is that it's HUGELY popular, but by all accounts, nobody had any indication that it would be. So many kids this year are dressing like Rumi for Halloween and finding a wig is not easy!

Their "off duty" outfits might be easier. I think I might be a little old and fat for a Saja boy!

I meant more like... Hasbro tried to monopolize D&D content 3 years ago and now they're making monopoly content for D&D.. or something. I dunno I'm not a comedian.

The return on investment on a Jem & The Holograms RPG in 2026 seems like it'd be pretty terrible.

I didn't say it was a good idea, just possible... and something the corporate heads might want to do.

IMO, a Dungeon Meishi-inspired Monster Manual Cookbook would be a fun addition to my games. I'm imagining something art-heavy (even in an anime style!), written from an in-universe perspective. They've done some recipe books in the past for fantasy dishes that you can make in the real world, this would be a fun chance to do something similar.

That world is just waiting to be translated into D&D (or your favorite TTRPG)! They even published their Delicious in Dungeon World Guide: The Adventurer's Bible, Complete Edition book in English:

Though this one is not published in the west (that I know of), there is a book titled Dungeon Food (Dungeon Meshi is the Japanese title): English Conversation, that teaches English via Dungeon Meshi. I do see some (simple) descriptions of the food there:

I just saw that Goodman Games lost the Lankhmar license. I can't imagine that's valuable enough for WotC to go after in 2026, but maybe ...

Goodman was a good home for the franchise. I expect there's probably not another company lined up for the franchise; it probably is just now bringing in less revenue that the license would cost to renew and Goodman let it go.

Other than seeing it released as an alternate setting for Blades in the Dark, I'm not sure where I'd actually like to see it go.

And again, I'm not sure how many people under 55 even know or care about Lankhmar any more, which makes the odds of it popping up anywhere slim.
