Wizards of the Coast is producing another Stranger Things product. Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club is a new boxed product that includes four adventures that connect to the first four seasons of the game. The adventures will feature various Stranger Things creatures, including Demobats and Demodogs, as well as a brand new monster. Also included in the box is a new quickstart guide, pregenerated character sheets for five characters, and token and cards. There will also be poster-sized maps for each adventure as well as a double-sided poster of "Greyhawkins," the realm in which the four adventures take place. EW was the first to report on the news.

As expected, the box art prominently features Eddie Munson, the D&D-loving head of the Hellfire Club that appeared in Season 4 of Stranger Things. Components were also designed to appeal to 1980s nostalgia and aesthetics.

The new box will launch on October 7th, ahead of Stranger Things' final season debuting in November.

I admit my surprise, because there was a previous "collab" in the past. I don't say it was a bad idea. Maybe it is a better product than the previous one.

Other point is if this has a good sales number then WotC try it with other franchises. Can you imagine a "product emplacement" of "Gamma World" in another Netflix production? I would dare to bet WotC dreams with a D&D-brother for collabs with sci-fi franchises, for example Fortnite: Save the World or Overwatch.

As a d&d loving metalhead I'm so glad they're highlighting Eddie but I got a say he's a weird pick for a promotional item for the fifth season
A foreword to the ENTIRE Enworld Message board, I've yet to see Stranger Things and I'm waiting for both parts of Season 5 to come out before going that route. No spoilers please.

Well I know for a fact that Eddie is a popular favorite among fans supposedly after he's introduced to the series. It would make sense that they would slap a popular character, whose a DND player as well in the show, and have him be the face of another Stranger Things tie-in.
