ooc: SRD prices for new items is correct I believe. You can sell anything for half price as RA said, or try and get a better price by selling to other characters. You can do this through the tavern (joe takes a 5% commision) or the Trading Post thread. I think.

"In order to travel by horseback, we'll each need a light horse, a saddle, and a bit and bridle. Ought to cost us about 82 gold each. What did our up front money come out to, divided equally amongst us?"

Counting out his coins, Ironwolf finds he can just barely afford this with his current coin, and hopes there's some up front money. Unfortunately, he seems to be broke all the time!

Std prices for horses are Light Riding (75gp), Heavy Riding (200gp), Light Warhorse (150gp), Heavy Warhorse (400gp). Light horses can cover 48 miles a day, or 32 with more than 151lbs. of load, heavy horses can cover 40 miles a day or 28 with more than 201 lbs. of load.

ooc: I figure Ironwolf weighs about 160 pounds, plus equipment. Either a heavy or a light horse would therefore be at a medium load. He's short, but by no means built like a jockey...

Michael smiles and pats his belly.
"No worries, Ironwolf."
He seems more concerned about riding the horse than paying for one.

"I can lend some people some money, though i don't think it will be enough to buy horses for all seven of us. I'd think i'll get a warhorse for myself cause i think a normal light horse won't be having a good time at carrying me and all my things."

"Would you like me to make enquiries about horses?"

"Yes, any help would be apreciated."

"If that is the way you wish to go, I will do make some inquiries this afternoon, unless you want to organise the horses yourself. If you meet me tomorrow at morning bell, I will give you your retainers, and introduce you to a horse trader. Meet at my shop.

If all the planning is complete for the evening, Ironwolf suggests that the group get a last good night of sleep here at the familliar Red Dragon Inn, and then meet up with Ashin as requested. He seems a bit anxious to start, or possibly just uncomfortable with the idea of spending so much money...
