Weird ideas

I had last night, I had some weird ideas for an apocalypse.

1. What if you woke up, and found out that you are a child again, but then of an other nationality, and an other gender???.

2. What if there really will be an apocalypse, how would you have then the apocalypse???.(The real obsession of mankind.)

A retro-virus infects higher animals (including people) and during the reproduction process of the virus it rewrites DNA of the host creature it (the virus) is reproducing within. If such a thing were possible in real life it'd likely just kill you when enough cells became meaningless to your body but in rpg land...you get a source of mutations that can change mature creatures and that can go away and not cause any problems (until the Gm wants it to cause problems again).

I'm partial to nuclear, because I like mutants, though I suppose a virus could do that. Also, aliens, because I like crazy tech. So yeah, a combo of the two. It does sound like the default of gamma world, high tech and mutants, so I guess that's where I get it from ;-)

Of course, any reason is good to me. Heck, I love Rifts, supernatural and high tech.

Hmmm,

I think we have a new definition for Monte Haulism. Maybe we should call this Kitchen Sink campaign design.
