d20 Fey/Shakespeare?

Hiya Ace,

Have you though about writing any GURPS Books btw?

Right now my writing schedule is preoccupied with the Abyss book and a few articles I'm supposed to pitch to Dragon magazine (but keep falling behind on due to my day job). I just finished Combat Missions for Spycraft through Paradigm Concepts and two of my other books are on the horizon: Mercenaries: Born of Blood should be out on shelves from Otherworld Creations this month (IhopeIhopeIhope). Frost and Fur won't be out until July.

I'm a big fan of GURPS and have a sizable collection (my favorites being GURPS Aztec, Goblins, and Russia). I wouldn't even know where to start writing for GURPS. But it's definitely something I would consider if the opportunity arose.

Getting closer...

I'm in negotiations with the publisher, but I need proof that this thing will sell. Please help out by voting here:

The poll will help determine if the project should see the light of day.

Obviously, I'm convinced it'd sell well. But if you really wouldn't buy it, please be honest -- I don't want to write something nobody wants to read.

Thanks!

Fey stats

Avalanche Press has a sourcebook called "Little People", which has the Oberon, Titania, and cast stats you are looking for. It's actually a pretty good collection if you're running a fey campaign, and it divides the groups by origin (Gaelic, Welsh, Irish, etc), with historical notes that give some good context.

Not OGL, but hope it helps. I bought mine on RPGNow a while back.

Um, you do realize that this thread is almost four years old, right? Talien has long since gotten that book published, so the point seems moot now. :\

Funny you should ask.

It sat in limbo with another publisher for two years or so. It was just recently released from contract and another publisher has picked it up. So while I can't really reveal details yet, I can say that it WILL see the light of day...eventually.

Man alive, I can't believe how long it's been!

Hm, I was apparently thinking of the original game when I said it was already out. My mistake! I look forward to seeing the d20 incarnation!

I can now confidently state that the publisher is Necromancer Games.

Now if only I had proof that they're publishing it besides me mentioning it on a messageboard. :)
