Wanna give us a preview of what's in the book? I just want to know if that new product will have the same feel as the Commando supplement that I once had with Top Secret/S.I. boxed set so long ago, if not moreso.

One thing to keep in mind. Due to some short-sightedness, Hasbro lost the rights to some of the old GIjOE characters, including the Baroness.

The Baroness is back in the new GIJOE comic, don't know from the top of my head if she's still called the Baroness, she's still the Baroness to me ;-) (I know, i kow, bad memory!

Is there something wrong with that, oh Arbiter of What Can and Cannot be Discussed?

As nifty as Spycraft is, some people just like to have "official" stats for characters, vehicles, places, and things. While I'm perfectly content to use Spycraft (and perhaps at some point, d20 Modern) for GI Joe, I don't begrudge those who wish for an actual release.

The comic book character rights and the toy name rights are seperate things entirely (as is cartoon rights). I'm a Transformers fan as well as GI Joe, and that's why every TF comic, cartoon, and toy line features an Optimus and a Megatron, even if they're diferrent characters. It's about maintaining intellectual property.
