D20 Mafia RPG

I am considering doing a modern day Mafia rpg using D20 modern and I was curious of a few things:

A) do you think Modern is the right route to go with this?

and if questions A)'s answer is yes then what would you like to see in the game?

d20 Modern sounds good to me; for one thing that makes stuff you produce for your mafia game work with the Urban Arcana setting and then I can have Michael Corleone be a githyanki...

BTW, I think Citizen Games is doing up a Mafia game for print now and they're looking for writers.

Right now I have a couple other games in front so right now the game is just in the ideas stage. I may check out what Citizen games has going because if they are doing a d20 modern Mafia game I may skip it to clear my schedule.

Yes, they are making a Mafia game.Anyhow, here's the URL:

http://www.citizengames.com/mafia.htm

Incidentally, if you scroll down to the bottom left hand of the screen, you'll see that they have a yahoo group set up for playtesters, which is still in the process of getting underway.

Incidentally, has anyone picked up Sidewinder? I haven't been able to find a copy at my local stores, and I hate ordering books I know nothing about. Just wondering whether or not people liked it.

Well, I am looking at the page and I may still do a Mafia RPG without the use of d20. I am in the talking stages of working with someone else.

But thanks for the heads up though.
